Farm in northern France produces insect-based products for animal feed

As the production of animal feed puts a major strain on land and water, insects are increasingly being proposed as an alternative fodder. They provide much of the protein animals need, at a lower environmental cost. Since the European Union authorised insect-based products in animal feed, insect farming has seen a massive expansion. FRANCE 24's Emerald Maxwell and David Gilberg report from one such farm in northern France.
