Child marriage still legal in United States

At an international level, the United States condemns child marriage as a violation of human rights. But back home, almost all US states allow people under 18 to marry if they have parental consent. Advocates say that makes it impossible to pursue some cases of child abuse. In total, some 200,000 children were married in the US between 2000 and 2015. Our correspondents report from California.
